IUVA Education Resource Center

Drinking Water

Our Guiding Principles

Although UV is now a well-established and reliable process for the disinfection of drinking water, the technology is still evolving in equipment advancements, lamp technologies, and validation processes. As guides to the IUVA Education Committee’s knowledge base for drinking water, we aim to expand the UV knowledge base to newcomers to the industry as well as helping experienced professionals find the resources they need. We will reference citations and link to materials that range from the necessary background fundamentals to the current state of research such that IUVA members can access the information needed to support continued use and advocacy of UV for drinking
water.
